Fifth Metatarsal Snap!

Bummer man!
I woke up today at about 3pm and immediately noticed my wife was limping along.... She informs me that she dropped a can of coffee this morning. She leaped to catch it before it hit the floor, this violent twist to catch the can caused a break in the fifth metatarsal fracture of the bone in her foot! OUCH!
The metatarsals are the long bones of the feet. The fifth metatarsal is the outmost foot bone and connects to the little toe. I drove her to the bone doctor and she had some X-rays taken. It will take about 4-6 weeks to heal. Get well soon babe. I need you on both feet!
